Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Jewel of the Desert” by Les Zeppelin Baran. Location: Coyote Canyon, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, California.
“I’ve visited this desert regularly over the past decade, and I’m always fascinated by it,” says Baran. “Wildflowers are blooming very early this year. This year brought snow above a 4,000-foot elevation, which is quite the rarity. I find my peace in the silence of the desert while existing among all the unusual elements of nature’s creation.”
